Ink, acrylic and conte on paper £600 SOLD

“Recording the upper reaches of the Tywi valley has revealed a contrasting landscape to that of my first impression. One of obscured views and seemingly forgotten places that conjure up a childlike desire to explore and discover. It is an intricate landscape of streams, hedgerows and woodland; immersed in an expanse of hillsides and pasture.
Within the confines of this landscape a feeling of solitude brings with it a heightening of the senses; birdsong drips and trills as it filters through woodland filigree and
lingering scents hang in the verdant damp.”

Nik Pollard studied at the Royal College of Art. He has been invited to participate on a number of international projects and has received awards for his work.

He is a published author and illustrator of children’s picture books and exhibits throughout the UK.
