The Curwen Studio - having recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary with an exhibition at
Tate Britain and a book published by Tate: Art & Print by Alan Powers - we are delighted to be able to have an exhibition of their prints and his book, which gives a wonderful account of their history to date.

They have a worldwide renowned reputation as a collaborative print studio using all forms of lithography: an extremely versatile medium for artists, being able to make marks of wonderful variation.

The ethos of the studio is still the same today as it was when it was first set up in 1958:
to provide a facility for artists to create hand drawn original prints in
collaboration with their printmakers.
